Hanaco®H-860 is a multifunctional preservative for tear-free wash care products that provides efficient broad-spectrum bacteriostatic properties, outstanding mildness, good moisturizing properties, and preservative system stability to help create ultimate comfort and user experience in wash care formulas. Hanaco®H-860 can be used alone or combine with other preservatives to achieve a milder preservative effect. Hanaco®H-860 can be used as an alternative to traditional preservatives to address the irritation and sensitization caused by traditional preservatives, such as heat and tearing, as well as discoloration and precipitation, which cannot be solve by some new preservatives. Meanwhile, it has an excellent foaming and foam stabilizing properties, with excellent compatibility, without impact on formula viscosity, to help the formulator maximize the expansion of the formulation design space. It is very suitable for tear-free, “preservative free” claimed, as well as surfactant-containing, especially amino acid-based toiletries.
